Farm to School

National Farm to School Month was officially designated by Congress in 2010 as a time to celebrate the importance of Farm to School programs as a means to improve child nutrition and educate children about the origins of food. Shoebox for the Homeless

Shoebox for the Homeless collection was a success!  We were told that in the past all the complex schools’ donations would fit into one truck and now they need two trucks!  THANK YOU  for all of the donations. We collected 240 “boxes”  about 100 more that we did last year!

2014 Cross Country Meet

On October 29th the annual Mililani Cross Country meet was held at Mililani Middle school. Our students were excited to participate in this event. They all showed good sportsmanship as they cheered for all the  complex students as they crossed the finish line!  We were all proud of our students.

Mililani Uka Chorus

Mililani Uka Chorus in action!  Mr. Puzon is back and already working with our chorus students. In addition to performing at our assemblies, look for them at the Hui Holiday Family Night on December 12th.  Mark your calendars!

Garden Club

Garden club students enjoy learning about how to keep their gardens pest free and growing bountifully. Mrs. Panguirigan, the club advisor  makes learning about plants fun!

Cross Country

Cross country practice is in full “STRIDE!”.   This year we have 150 students from grades 3-5 practicing after-school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thank you to all the parent and staff volunteers who run with the students and cheer them on!

Safety Week!

Safety is a top priority and is  everyone’s responsibility. This week we conducted emergency preparedness drills and reviewed important  personal safety procedures. Recycling

Our Student Council members are seen here hard at work recycling plastics and cans. Recycling is done once a month at our school and fits into what we are learning about not depleting the earth’s resources. The money raised helps pay for student council activities throughout the year.

Spirit Week

It’s Spirit Week! For one week each month we celebrate our committment to being Drug Free by wearing red on Wednesday, our belief in caring for others by wearing purple on Thursday, and we wear our school color blue on Friday to show school pride.
