This Sunday, March 13, is the Lion’s Club breakfast at the High School from 6am to 11am in the cafeteria. You can dine in or take out. This is their major fundraiser of the year. The Lion’s club has helped our school as volunteers for so many of our school events. If you don’t want to cook, consider a delicious and filling breakfast for only $6.00!

The Mililani Complex Music Festival held at the Mililani High School Gym will be on Monday, March 14 at 6:30pm. All the schools in Mililani will be participating. Come and see our Mighty Egrets Chorus sing!

The First Lady, Michelle Obama, is hosting her fifth annual Healthy Lunchtime Challenge to promote cooking and healthy eating among young people across the nation. The challenge invites kids ages 8-12 to join a parent or guardian in creating an original recipe that is healthy, delicious, and affordable. One winner from each U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia will be selected and have the opportunity to attend a Kids’ “State Dinner” at the White House where a selection of the winning recipes will be served.   • Kunia Orchid show at Leilehua High School March 18-20 from 9am – 5pm.


Anything that has phone capabilities is considered electronic and therefore contraband. See Page 31 of our parent/student handbook here. The most common looks like a watch. Our teachers will be reminding students that it is contraband and that if they see/hear it, it will be taken away. We have phones in all of our classrooms should we need to contact you in event of an emergency.

Lately, there have been several incidents involving our students after school at Kuahelani Park. Please have your children go straight home after school. The park is not supervised and not part of our jurisdiction. Any incident that happens at the park needs to be reported directly to the police for follow-up.

Spring break is from March 16-28. Students return on March 29th.
