MAHALO to Kahuku Farms for donating papaya and Mrs. Low-Liu’s father-in-law, Mr. Liu for donating mandarin oranges, mangos, Samoan bananas, longan (dragon eye) for our students to try on National Food Day. All of our students had a chance to try these delicious tropical fruits. We learned that for maximum enjoyment when tasting different fruits, they should be eaten from the less sweet to the sweetest fruit. For some of our students it was the first time that they had ever tried these fruits!
